Yes! It’s true! www.robingunn.com has received a stunning makeover! Just in time for the GRAND OPENING of ROBIN'S NEST ONLINE SHOP on June 20th! Whoo-hoo!
But wait! Before you leave to see the renovations, let me tell you how all this happened. For years women have been requesting Sisterchicks® t-shirts for their ministry events or tote bags for their book clubs. Teens have asked for posters and fun things like orange surfboard key chains to remind them to pray for their future husband. One girl begged me to sell “I {heart} Todd” t-shirts since all the girls at her school were wearing “My Boyfriend Is a Vampire” t-shirts.
So I prayed, and God brought me Amy, who loves to do product development. Amy met Dana at a shower and found out Dana manages an online store for the band Kutless. Dana and her assistant, Sharice, were open to the idea of running the Robin’s Nest Shop. So all of us prayed some more. Then Krista, who designed the covers for the Christy Miller books, said she could help with designs and came up with a snazzy “Praying for My Todd” poster. The next step was for Ross, Jim and Scott to pull the web site together, and all of a sudden, we realized what a God-thing this was!

The "My Favorite" Video Contest
What is YOUR favorite part of any Robin Jones Gunn book?
Create a video telling the world your favorite part of any book by Robin Jones Gunn and receive a copy of “Coming Attractions,” the third book in the Katie Weldon series before it’s in stores. The top 20 video entries chosen by a panel of judges will receive a copy of the third Katie Weldon book, which is scheduled to be avalible on July 6th.
Rules for “My Favorite” Video Contest :
1. Your video must be under 2 minutes.
2. Tell, sing, act out your favorite part of any Robin Jones Gunn book.
3. Be creative and appropriate
4. Click on "POST A VIDEO RESPONSE" below the Official Contest Video on YouTube. Please do not send me links to your videos. The only way to enter the contest is to post the video response on YouTube.
5. Don't put any of your personal information in your video. First names only for your safety.
6. By entering the contest, you grant Robin's Nest Productions permission to use the video to promote my books.
7. A panel of judges will pick the winning videos based on the creativity and the clarity of communicating the favorite parts of the books.
8. Only one entry per person please.
9. The contest ends June 26, 2009. The winners will be notified through a YouTube message and will be announced through the newsletter and website. Message me on YouTube at robinjonesgunn with any questions.

Sisterchicks in Wooden Shoes! Contest Winners
In the last newsletter, we offered Sisterchicks bookmarks. I had 800 bookmarks on hand and thought we might have requests for about 500. You Sisterchicks surprised us all! We had requests for 6,000 bookmarks! My wonderful friends at Multnomah came to the rescue and printed the additional 5,000 bookmarks. Some of you may have received a few less than you requested, and that’s why. My husband helped me with the week-long shipping project, and both of us prayed for you, the recipients, as we counted bookmarks and stuffed envelopes. They were sent your way with much love.
